THE CREATIVE BEHIND BNVB
BNVB is the brainchild of Southern California designer Omar Ramirez. The son of Mexican immigrants, he was raised in Southeast Los Angeles and is now based out of Long Beach, California.
Omar approaches design as a way to process culture, identity, and everyday life. Trained in Design Media Arts at UCLA and shaped by years working across entertainment and corporate marketing, he combines formal design discipline with lived cultural perspective. His work draws from the visual language of the communities that shaped him —blending humor, nostalgia, and cultural detail into pieces meant to resonate beyond the moment.
What began as a personal creative outlet evolved into BNVB — a space to build thoughtfully, move intentionally, and create pieces that reflect real life, not just passing trends.
Why the Name?
BNVB is short for BUENAVIBA, a playful
Spanglish spin on Buena Vibra – or Good Vibe.
Both the name and emblem are a nod to heritage and the fact good energy isn’t accidental, it’s designed.
At BNVB very piece begins with a simple test: does it feel intentional, culturally aware, & true to the energy we’re trying to put into the world?
If it misses that mark, it doesn’t move forward.
